Really this is just an update! I’ve been working on the next Elizabeth Ryan mystery, to follow Sin of the Father. This is going to be a longer and more complex story that deals with identity–who we are, who we want to be, and those times when we wish we could be anyone but ourselves. Of course there’s murder thrown in and Elizabeth Ryan will continue tackling her messed up marriage.
I’ve tentatively titled this book, “The Soul’s Shadow.” We’ll see if that title sticks or not. But last night I wrapped up a preliminary outline of the whole book. Since there are two major plot lines to this one, it’s been tough trying to get all the major and minor plots to weave together and make sense. But I’ve got a rough draft of the whole now, and that feels so great!
If you are you writing a book right now, how do you manage to get all your plot lines to weave together? I’d love to hear your thoughts–
